Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey the father of her (who died in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998, in Minsk Belarus. The 12 WTA singles victories include a Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist she has also won at the US Open of 2019 as and in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She also achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, taking her the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Just four pairs of women's tennis were able to achieve this feat. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she rose to second position in the world singles ranking her top ranking again in the month of January in 2023. She rose up to the top of the doubles rankings in the next year after winning in Melbourne. It made her the second Belarusian tennis player achieve success in the field. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the 2019 season in 2018 and through the end. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
